Backend development involves creating software that powers websites and handles everything on the server side. This course uses .NET Core, an open-source framework developed by Microsoft, which is used for building various types of applications, including Web, Mobile, Desktop, and Game applications. Additionally, .NET Core is cross-platform, meaning it can run on Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems. 

The goal of the .NET course is to provide comprehensive learning and hands-on experience in Backend Development, covering the C# programming language and the .NET Core framework. 

Upon completing the course, students will be equipped to work as Junior Backend Developers in Agile teams.
