TBC IT Academy offers individuals interested in information technology the opportunity to acquire a new profession and gain employment in the technology sector. The program is fully funded by TBC Bank and is completely free for participants.
To support vocational education and promote practice-based learning in the technology field, TBC established the IT Academy in 2019. Since its inception, it has successfully contributed to the development and strengthening of the country’s IT ecosystem.
The main goal of TBC IT Academy is to help technology enthusiasts become the most in-demand specialists in the industry. Through a combination of courses, practical lectures, and mentorship, participants acquire the skills necessary to succeed in the tech industry. They work on real projects alongside leading international and local experts.
Since 2019, approximately 5,000 people have completed training and retraining programs in IT. Among them, around 500 successful graduates have been employed at TBC and its subsidiary companies.
TBC IT Academy’s training programs are conducted online in Georgian, ensuring access to high-quality technological education for everyone aged 18 and above. The online format also enables participants to join from different regions, which fosters the development of the field in those areas, increases the role of technology, and helps reduce unemployment.
