As part of its CSR policy, TBC IT Academy provides a pathway for those interested in information technology to master a new profession. The program is fully funded by TBC Bank, making it entirely free of charge.
Founded in 2019, TBC IT Academy was created to support vocational education and foster practice-based learning in the technology sector. Since its launch, the Academy has been dedicated to strengthening the IT ecosystem in Georgia.
The Academy’s primary mission is to help tech enthusiasts become highly sought-after professionals. Through a specialized courses, practical lectures, and mentorship, students gain the skills necessary to thrive in the tech industry. Additionally, they have the opportunity to collaborate on real-world projects with leading international and local specialists.
Since 2019, nearly 2,000 individuals have participated in TBC IT Academy’s IT training and retraining programs. Around 400 successful graduates have secured employment within TBC Bank and its subsidiaries.
TBC IT Academy’s training programs are conducted online in Georgian, ensuring access to quality tech education for all individuals aged 18 and above. The online format also allows for the inclusion of participants from across the regions, contributing to the development of the sector, boosting the role of technology, and reducing unemployment across the country
