When shopping in Turkey with Global Blue TAX Free, at Customs you will receive an extra 20% of the VAT refund amount. The additional 20% is calculated from the Tax Free refund amount and not from the total value of the item.

Please note, the additional 20% is calculated only from the VAT Refund Amount and does not apply to the total value of the product;
The maximum amount of the additional refund is limited to 2,000 lira per transaction;
At the moment of payment, make sure to present your Mastercard card to the staff at the partner store;
After Customs validation, the total amount — the standard VAT refund plus the additional 20% — will be transferred directly to your registered Mastercard card.
