Since 23 February, a new feature – QR Transfers – has been added to MobileBank to enhance customers’ experience of transferring and receiving money. QR Transfers avoids the need to dictate one’s IBAN or ID number to the sender, verify the recipient and choose between the recipient’s multiple accounts.

Each account has its unique QR code displayed in MobileBank, once the user navigates to IBAN.

After scanning the QR code, the sender enters the amount and selects the transfer method:

Having selected the method, the sender confirms the transfer, while the payee receives the funds instantly at their TBC account.

The facility is intended for individual customers, to make their everyday life easier, by providing them with an alternative method of instant payments and receipts. QR Transfers are ideal for those who frequently send or receive money with different people.
