The annual literary award "Saba" was founded in 2002. The award aims to evaluate the literary processes of the past year and recognize the best books and authors, establishing itself as the year's premier literary event. The "Saba" literary award is presented in the following categories:

In addition to a special trophy, the winning authors receive monetary prizes provided by TBC.
In tandem with the competition, the electronic book application Saba-Reader was created in 2012, which today stands as the largest Georgian digital library. The app brings together a diverse selection of literature—including classical and contemporary, Georgian and foreign fiction, as well as audiobooks and podcasts. The Saba Reader application is accessible to users both in Georgia and abroad.
