Be alert and conscious of your surroundings. Do not use the ATM if you notice anything or anyone suspicious;

Avoid using an ATM if the surrounding lighting is poor;

Avoid using an ATM if it appears unusual or has unfamiliar equipment attached to it;

While using an ATM, position yourself in front of the keypad so that you shield it from others’ view as you enter your PIN;

Memorize your PIN and avoid writing it down, especially on the back of your card;

If you need to perform multiple operations at an ATM, it is advisable that you make a cash withdrawal last;

After you complete your ATM session, always make sure:

You have your card and withdrawn cash with you;

Your session has been fully completed. For example, if the ATM screen displays a message like „Would you like to continue” or “Would you like to perform another transaction?“, you need to end the session by pressing the „Cancel“ button on the keypad or the „No“ button on the screen.
