ESG Academy

ESG Academy is an educational program designed for TBC’s customers and employees, focusing on the most important topics related to climate change and sustainable development. The Academy was established by TBC in 2023.

The Academy’s first course was developed jointly by TBC and Develor. The program was tailored to the needs and interests of its target audiences. For employees, TBC created the module “Green Mindset and Green Financing,” while for customers it developed “The Business Path to Sustainability: Create a Green Future.”

To implement the course, TBC secured support through the technical assistance programs of two European funds: the EFSE Development Facility (DF) and the GGF Technical Assistance Facility (TAF).

TBC ESG Academy has received two significant awards.

Its first course, “The Business Path to Sustainability: Create a Green Future,” won the prestigious PEAK AWARD from the international Develor network. The PEAK AWARD is Develor’s highest international recognition and is granted to projects across the network that demonstrate outstanding professionalism, effectiveness, knowledge sharing, and excellence in delivery.

The second recognition was awarded to TBC ESG Academy at the United Nations Global Compact Annual Awards, where it received the Corporate Sustainability Award 2025 – Business for Sustainable Development. The Academy was recognized in the “Partnership for Sustainable Development” category. This award further highlights the importance of raising awareness about sustainability across the country and fostering collaboration among organizations to advance sustainable development goals.
