Information on Personal Data Processing

When collecting data, JSC TBC Bank (registered address: 7 K. Marjanishvili Street, Chugureti District, Tbilisi, Georgia), acting as the data controller, hereby provides you with the following information:

a) Purposes and Legal Bases for Data Processing

Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  • Identification and communication with candidates;

  • Preparation of gender and age statistics and ESG reporting;

  • Verification of age requirements as prescribed by the Labour Code;

  • Offering positions in appropriate branches or headquarters based on the candidate’s residential address;

  • Avoiding data duplication and ensuring the maintenance of a single, unified record;

  • Analytical and operational management of the recruitment process.

Legal bases for data processing:

  • Your consent, which may be withdrawn at any time;

  • Processing necessary for the conclusion of a contract between the Bank and the applicant;

  • Processing required by law;

  • Protection of the Bank’s legitimate interests.

b) Obligation to Provide Data and Consequences of Refusal

The provision of personal data is mandatory, as their availability is necessary for the consideration of your candidacy. If you do not provide the requested information, the Bank will be unable to review your application for potential employment opportunities.

c) Legitimate Interests

The Bank’s key legitimate interests include: ensuring the efficiency of the candidate selection process, preventing duplication of data, maintaining regional and gender balance, and ensuring the proper administration of employment relations.

d) Data Recipients

Your personal data are accessible only to the HR Department of JSC TBC Bank and other structural units involved in the recruitment process.

e) Data Retention Period

Your personal data are retained for three (3) years to enable consideration for future relevant positions. After the expiry of this period, the data will be deleted or anonymized, except where longer retention is required by law.

You have the right to receive full information about the processing of your personal data, including the purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods, and potential consequences. You may access your personal data, obtain copies thereof, and request the correction, update, or completion of inaccurate or incomplete information. You also have the right to request the termination, deletion, destruction, or temporary blocking of your personal data if there is no applicable legal basis for continued processing. You may obtain the data you have provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or request their transfer to another controller. You may also exercise any other rights granted to you under applicable law.
