Miles&Smiles members can earn Status Miles (on certain routes, some airlines may not award Status Miles) and Miles on flights operated by Turkish Airlines, Ajet, Star Alliance member airlines, and other partner airlines.

The eligibility of flights, the minimum Miles earned per flight and the exact accrual rules based on the booking class are determined by the operating airline. Unless a minimum-mile policy applies, the Miles earned between flight points follow IATA mileage standards.

To earn Miles, Miles&Smiles TK number should be registered at the time of ticket purchase (any sales channel) or presented at check-in.

If a traveler is a member of Miles&Smiles and a partner airline’s loyalty program simultaneously, only one program can receive the Miles per flight. Miles will be earned based on the program chosen, by providing either the Miles&Smiles TK number or the partner program number during booking or at check-in.

Earned Miles are automatically credited to a members` Miles&Smiles account within two weeks of the flight. If Miles do not appear, a retroactive crediting can be requested by following the provided instruction. It`s necessary to keep an original boarding pass and a copy of ticket until the Miles show up in Miles&Smiles statement. The retroactive crediting may vary by partner airline and is available only for flights operated after the official start date of the partnership between the operating airline and Turkish Airlines.
